The International Residual Criminal Tribunal (UN IRMCT) wanted to create an exhibition that would help the public to understand what it is like to be a witness at a war crimes court. The concept needed to be emotive but strongly rooted in real experiences and archival proof.
Strategy
Cut through the lengthy explanations by getting readers to empathise with the witness experience.
Concept
Using visual cues such as witness documents and objects along with emotive copy to take the reader on a journey. Inviting the reader to identify closely with the witness by using the second-person perspective as well as extracts from witness accounts and extracts from a research paper called Echoes of Testimony .
